Back from coachella. Why is it just as hot in Los
Angeles as it is in Indio??? I was looking forward to 80 degree weather; only to comeback to temps around the 90s. Oy!

Hold Up
I totally have a bad case of the Mondays... After an exhausting weekend of hosting a group yard sale (which was success, btw) and Easter family fun with my sooo sooo adorable nephew, all I wanna do is lay in bed and sleep in. Oy. The only motivation to get through this week - 5 more days til coachellllllla! Music, parties, sunshine, beer garden, oh my!

In Bloom.
Milla Jovovich in Italy's Elle looking gorgeous as usual. My brother had the biggest crush on her in the early 90s. So much so that he used to play her single Gentleman Who Fell over and over.... Hard to believe she was a songstress too, huh? Watch the video here.

Damn the man. Save the Empire.
Empire Records is one of my fave 90s movies. The characters + the angst + music = awesome. (C'mon, Renee Zellweger - pre-award-winning days - singing 'Sugar High' on the roof was just pure energy.)
So, of course, when I came across these Elle editorial photos via Refinery 29, I was mesmerized (plus it was styled by the one and only Erin Wasson). The cropped shirt layered with a cardigan and paired with a short skirt and torn up tights is too perfect. Yay, bring on the grunge.

Finally
Finally had a taste of the Kogi phenomena. and yes, it was worth the wait (literally). A friend and I made a short trek to the Wilshire/Cloverdale stop and managed to do the 1 hour wait in line for the yummy, spicy goodness. I couldn't decide what I wanted, so I had a little taco sampler - 1 tofu, 1 short rib, and 1 chicken. The short rib was the best, and the tofu comes in at a close second. Yummm. Can't wait to do it all over again next Wednesday.
